Supporting all audiences on the Internet

Are you ready for the new changes that were introduced this year? New standards were established this year to insure that visually or audibly impaired individuals are able to use the internet.

Do you know what they are?

Automated and public tools are available to see if your web site currently meets these standards! Some of these

Can be found in your browser (please see sub page Accessibility for more details).

Not all web sites can be read across all browsers, so if you are not sure whether or not you are compliant then - well - your probably not!

Make sure that your web site reaches the largest possible audience.

HTML is definitely the preferred language for the largest audience group. Although both Internet Explorer and Navigator (two of the largest browsers in the world - at present) read JavaScript syntax/languages they both read different variations (which are not completely compatible with each other). If you think about the way that different dialects from town to town throw up the same word with the same or a different meaning you will be a bit closer to what we mean. JavaScript does have its place, however, and can add much and varied interest to your web site.
